Courtney Love to tour US with Lana Del Rey in 2015

Pair will reportedly embark on 'Endless Summer Tour' next year

Hole singer Courtney Love is set to tour with Lana Del Rey, reports indicate.

Writing on Twitter over the weekend (November 29), Love has hinted at the team-up: “See you in London in ten hours @LanaDelRey we are going to own that town xxc #excitingnews2come”.

Now, Pitchfork report that the two acts will tour together for the “Endless Summer Tour” in North America next year. The joint stint will begin at the Woodlands Festival in Texas, before heading to Dallas, Phoenix, Los Angeles and other cities.

Love had previously told an Australian news website that she “would work” with either Lana Del Rey or Miley Cyrus if the opportunities arose.

Love said in July: “I am not pop but I have a lot of friends on social media and friends who are pop stars. There’s just not a lot of rock’n’roll girls out there, so for whatever reason (pop stars) look up to me. And I have a distinctive voice and it might sound cool if it’s the right song.”

In 2012, Courtney Love expressed her thoughts on Lana Del Rey’s rendition of Nirvana classic ‘Heart-Shaped Box’, a song which Del Rey regularly covers at her live shows.

Writing on Twitter, in posts which have since been deleted, the frontwoman said: “You do know the song is about my vagina right? ‘Throw down your umbilical noose so i can climb right back,’ umm… On top of which some of the lyrics about my vagina I contributed. So umm next time you sing it, think about my vagina will you?”

Meanwhile, Courtney Love recently discussed the revival of her friendship with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, claiming that while they experienced problems in the past, the pair are now “totally tight”.
