'We just picked up where we left off after 20 years of suing each other,' said the Hole frontwoman
Speaking on US talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live, Love explained the two had put aside their differences earlier this year following the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, but also due to a discussion about a unnamed Hollywood actress’ breasts.
Love explained: “A lot of people saw the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame where we hugged it out and it was all good, but the other night we – we used to really like each other and then there was 20 years when we sued each other and then we stopped – and then the other night we just started talking about this one actress’ boobs. We’d both seen them – at one point, when she was 20 they were the sexiest boobs in Hollywood – he’d seen them, I’d seen them, and we just picked up where we left off after 20 years of suing each other.”
She added: “Me and Grohl, we’re totally tight!” Click above to watch the interview. Courtney Love had previously said she though it was “time to make amends” with Dave Grohl, who played in Nirvana with her late husband, Kurt Cobain.
The pair seemingly put aside their differences earlier this year at Nirvana’s induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in April. Love and Grohl hugged at one point, a public thawing of a relationship which has been markedly frosty in the two decades since Cobain’s death. Before embracing the drummer, Love said: “You know, I have a big speech, but I’m not going to say it. This is my family.” Afterwards she continued, “I just wish Kurt was here to do this.”
