OH, JESUS!

Dani Davey insists that Jesus is actually a c**t...

CRADLE OF FILTH frontman DANI DAVEY has reacted to the news that his band’s T-shirt was forcibly removed from sale in GLASGOW for carrying an offensive ‘Jesus is a c**t’ logo, by telling NME.COM that “Jesus is actually a c**t”.

As reported earlier on NME.COM, police forced Tower Records in Glasgow to remove the T-Shirt on Friday (January 5) after complaints from members of the public.

“Parents who have to fork out months of their salary to buy ridiculous Christmas presents for their kids, or homeless people with nothing might say that Jesus is actually a c**t,” he said.

He went on: “It’s an old shirt, maybe seven or eight years old. It was an angry and comical response to the ‘Jesus Loves You’ bumper stickers. It doesn’t bother me that it should get such a reaction.”

Tower Records were due to make a formal statement yesterday afternoon (January 11).
