Guitarist Paul Allender is taken to hospital after being hit by an object
Cradle Of Filth were forced to cancel their headline peformance at the Bloodstock Open Air festival last night (August 15) after guitarist Paul Allender was hit by an object thrown by a member of the crowd.
The guitarist was unable to finish his performance and was taken to hospital for treatment, reports Blabbermouth.
The Bloodstock organisers issued a statement which said: “One selfish ticketholder soured an amazing day and a stunning performance by the closing headliners.
“We’re hoping that the rest of the fans in attendance will enjoy the rest of the weekend with the camaraderie and unity that has made Bloodstock Open Air the great festival it is.”
Other acts at this year’s three-day festival in Derbyshire , which finishes tonight (August 16), include Saxon and Municipal Waste.
