The Cranberries have announced that they will reform to embark on a US tour later this year.
This will be the first time the Irish band have hit the road in nearly seven years. The tour will feature the band’s original lineup of Dolores O’Riordan, Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler.
They plan to kick off the North American jaunt in November and play dates in Europe in early 2010.
The band said that they will perform old classics as well as material from singer O’Riordan‘s new solo album, ‘No Baggage’, which was released in the US today (August 25).
“Over the last few years, each member of the band has had time to work on different projects and learn so much from their experience,” guitarist and co-songwriter Hogan said in a statement. “Now the time is right for The Cranberries to bring all of this together and move forward.”
The Cranberries plan to announce their exact tour dates in the coming weeks.
