Deadmau5 joins Swedish House Mafia as Creamfields 2019 headliners

A powerhouse line-up is emerging for the electronic and dance music festival staple

Creamfields have confirmed that Deadmau5 and Swedish House Mafia will both headline their 2019 festival.

The electronic and dance music festival will be staged from August 22-25 next year, where it’ll be hosted once again at the Daresbury Estate in Cheshire.

Deadmau5 and Swedish House Mafia – who reformed earlier this year – have both been announced today (December 12) as two of the headliners at next year’s Creamfields. Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso – AKA Swedish House Mafia – will top the bill on the Sunday (August 25) while Deadmau5 will play on the Friday night (August 23).

Both bookings are being billed as UK festival exclusives for 2019. See the Creamfields headliner announcement post below.

More acts are set to be announced for Creamfields 2019 in the coming weeks and months.

Tickets for Creamfields Festival 2019 will go back on sale on Friday (December 14) at 2018 prices. You can buy tickets when they go on sale here.

Bringing in the New Year last December, Deadmau5 surprised fans by playing a video message which had been specially recorded by the cast of Rick & Morty.

In the clip which was played to the audience at his NYE 2017 show in LA, Rick referred to the crowd as “shitheads who are worshipping a giant mouse” – before a countdown clock is then mistaken for a bomb.
