Now, McGee has received a number of offers from across the world to open similar nights.

A spokesperson for Poptones told NME.COM: “The Poptones DJs have had loads of offers to DJ in places like Manchester and Scotland, while Internationally we’ve received offers to open Radio4 bars. When the right offer is made, that is something that he’d (McGee) like to do.

The clubs would keep the Poptones name, and retain the Radio4 vibe, which would mean a mixture of live music and an eclectic mix of DJs.
