My Device kick off NME.COM’s birthday party

WALKMAN NME Breaking Bands winners shine

WALKMAN NME Breaking Bands winners My Device have kicked off the live entertainment at NME.COM’s tenth birthday party in London tonight (September 12).

The crowd at Camden‘s KOKO watched a short set from the three-piece, who won NME.COM‘s contest to find a new band to share the bill with CSS and headliners Kasabian.

Watched by the likes of Babyshambles, The Long Blondes and The Horrors they didn’t disappoint, performing the likes of ‘House On Fire’, ‘Life is A Blast’ and ‘My Bear’.

Speaking to NME.COM afterwards, singer Todd Jordan said: “That was awesome but really weird and dreamy. I was just looking out in the crowd and I could see people I know and people I didn’t jumping around and that was amazing to see.”

The band played:

‘House On Fire’

‘Life Is A Blast’

‘Brave Today’

‘My Bear’

‘Eat Lead’

To see the performances from Kasabian, CSS and the WALKMAN NME Breaking Bands winner My Device live, in glorious broadband, as it happens go to NME.COM/BIRTHDAY.
