Cypress Hill released their last record, ‘Elephants on Acid’, in 2018. NME’s review said that the act’s ninth album is “one for the hardcore fans only…a relentless odyssey into the weird.

When it’s great, we see exactly why the world first pricked up its ears in 1991. But those moments are sadly overshadowed by a barrage of tracks that become increasingly surreal and tedious as the record progresses.”

Meanwhile, Cypress Hill rapper B-Real will headline Boomtown festival this August as part of Prophets of Rage, his supergroup side project with members of Public Enemy, Audioslave, and Rage Against The Machine.

The Streets and Ms. Lauryn Hill also top the bill.
