RUI DA SILVA is this week’s Number One with his single ‘TOUCH ME’, beating chart rivals STEPS to the top spot.
The single, which was intended for release last year but was shelved, is the first new Number One of the new year, and the Portuguese producer’s first chart topper.
Main chart rival Steps’ new single ‘It’s The Way You Make Me Feel’ entered the chart at Number Two, but was hindered by the fact that some stores sold the record a week early, costing the pop group valuable sales this week.
Other notable high new entries this week came from Fragma, with their single ‘Every Time You Need Me’ entering the chart at Number Three, at Red Hot Chili Peppers, whose single ‘Road Trippin” entered the chart at Number 30.
