Kasabian’s Tom Meighan offloads stagewear to Oxfam – Daily Gossip

Cheryl meets Harry, Noel checks out Tame Impala, Gaga's Pilates – your music gossip stop

Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today’s top gossip:

Kasabian‘s Tom Meighan has donated bags and bags of his stage clothing to Oxfam in Leicester. No word on whether his celebrated ‘strawberry jacket’ (see below), as worn at Glastonbury 2009 and described by bandmate Serge Pizzorno as “the wrongest thing ever” is included in the haul, although a pair of super-tight black jeans are. They’re so tight, in fact, that the shop has placed them in the female section.

Paper talk:

Girls Aloud‘s Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh pretended to look like they were still friends while watching Tinie Tempah at Camden‘s KOKO (Daily Mirror).

After all her recent boozing in London pubs and scoffing fish and chips, Lady Gaga has hired a Pilates instructor to be at her beck and call while she visits Dublin on tour (Daily Star).

Shock news: Debbie Harry ditched her blonde locks for a platinum white wig at the GQ Gentleman’s Ball in New York (Daily Mirror).

Shock news, part two: Plan B says girls are more interested in him now that he’s famous (Daily Star).

Cheryl Cole is to have a one-to-one meeting with Prince Harry, after he sent a load of emails to her management team demanding the hook up. Apparently the third in line to the throne is obsessed with The X Factor. Which is depressing, really (Daily Mirror).

Celebs were out in force at gigs last night. Noel Gallagher, Serge Pizzorno, Noel Fielding, Alexa Chung and Alison Mosshart all watched Tame Impala at Heaven in London, while Klaxons and The xx were down the front for Warpaint at their London Scala gig.
