Arctic Monkeys may have relocated to Los Angeles to work on their fourth album, hiring a Hollywood mansion for the duration of recording, but have apparently been warned to keep the noise down by their new neighbours.
According to the red-tops their house, which has eight bathrooms and a spa, swimming pool and library, is in a neighbourhood with properties owned by the likes of Jennifer Aniston and porn baron Larry Flynt. According to one of those ol’ anonymous sources, “Locals are worried a rock band moving in would ruin the peace and quiet they’re used to, so the lads have been told not to play their music too loud.” And we thought LA was a rock’n’roll haven… (The Sun)

Franz Ferdinand have been showing off their own range of clothes again, we read. Singer Alex Kapranos and guitarist Nick McCarthy signed up to design a range of golfing sweaters for Scottish clothing company Pringle last year, and have been parading them around again recently. Alex‘s costs £650, while Nick‘s a rather more hefty £1,295 (various).
Two Door Cinema Club have been trying to crack America recently, playing on NBC‘s primetime chat show Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. But the band reckon their Northern Irish accents may hold them back, we read. Singer Alex Trimble said: “Northern Irish accents may as well be French out here.” Just imagine how hard it will be for The View then… (The Sun).
According to the red-tops Tinie Tempah wants to work with rising star James Blake. Tinie is apparently beginning work on new material and said, “I’d love to work with James Blake and his unusual dubstep and soul sound” (Daily Star).
Florence Welch has revealed that she suffers from very strange nightmares. “I suffer hallucinations about demons sitting on my chest,” she explained. “When the demons come, sometimes I get up in the middle of the night and go to local skips for old paintings. I hang them in my bedroom” (The Sun).
