Coldplay have done a U-turn and allowed Glee to use their songs for a forthcoming special edition of the show. The band initially refused producers’ pleas to use their music, but creator Ryan Murphy says that has now changed: “Coldplay called a week ago and said, ‘We’re sorry, you can have our catalogue.'” At present, the only other artist to continue denying the show use of his music is Bryan Adams (The Sun).
