Lily Allen has claimed that the Barclaycard Mercury Prize judges “hate” her after her album ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ failed to bag a nomination this year. “I’m like Gazza, the judges hate me, but the people, dem love me,” she wrote on her Twitter page, Twitter.com/lilyroseallen.

Friendly Fires said they would celebrate their Barclaycard Mercury Prize nomination by getting tanked up to the max on their flight to Australia. Glasvegas‘ James Allan, meanwhile, had been drinking at the London nominations announcement bash since 9am (BST) (The Sun).
