Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.
Today’s top gossip:
Pete Doherty had an awkward encounter with ex-girlfriend Kate Moss when he bumped into her for the first time since they split in 2007 on a flight to Ibiza. The couple randomly caught the same flight from London‘s Gatwick airport, and although they didn’t notice each other initially, Moss‘ daughter Lila Grace saw Doherty and tried to beckon her mum over. However, neither Moss or Doherty engaged in conversation on the flight, and both went their separate ways at the end (The Sun).
From the papers:
Bono has been released from hospital in Munich after injuring his back. He’s still got to rest for another eight weeks (Daily Star).
Tom Jones insinuated that having liaisons while on tour is natural. “Unfortunately it can happen when you’re on the road,” said the married 69-year-old, before adding: “It’s not premeditated” (Daily Star).
Katherine Jenkins was wolf-whistled as she left Waitrose in north London (Daily Mirror).
England captain Rio Ferdinand has revealed his iPod secrets. He likes Drake, Tinchy Stryder, Wiley and Kano and says he’ll be playing the artists – along with “old reggae” – to the team before their World Cup games (Daily Mirror).
