Oasis have fared badly in a poll collating the intelligence of music fans. US researcher Virgil Griffith‘s experiment compared students’ SAT results with their favourite music, and the results showed that – on average – Oasis fans are thicker than those who like The Fray, The Killers, Snow Patrol, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, Billy Joel, Muse, U2 and Radiohead.
Top of the list was Beethoven (followed by Sufjan Stevens), while Lil Wayne fans were placed last (Music That Makes You Dumb).
