Morrissey stunned gig-goers (not to mention staff and bands) at north London pub The Old Queen’s Head on Monday (August 11), when he turned up to the venue’s Oh, Inverted World club night. Upon arrival, the former Smiths singer had his own private area created for him, and drunk the “best vodka the Old Queens Head had”, before settling down to watch She Keeps Bees‘ set. There’s no word on whether he and Jack Penate – who was also at the club – forged any plans to collaborate any time soon.

The KillersBrandon Flowers has become a dad for the second time. He’s named his newborn son Gunner, because he “had to have something tough that combats the Flowers“, said the singer (The Sun).

Amy Winehouse is set to play gigs in the US, after her work visa ban to enter the country was lifted. She was originally stopped after being arrested while in possessions of cannabis in Norway in 2007 (Daily Star).

Madonna and Robbie Williams have signed up to appear on the new series of ‘The X Factor’ (The Sun).

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder David Bentley and The Who‘s Zak Starkey watched Jet‘s set at London‘s This Feeling club.
