Girls Aloud being used to advertise Russian escort agency – Daily Gossip

Blink love The Drums, Two Door's autobahn accident – your music gossip stop

Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out what the stars of the music world have been up to in the tabloids and beyond, with the help of plenty of “anonymous sources”.

Today’s top gossip:

Girls Aloud appear to have been caught up in a vice scandal. One tabloid has somehow discovered that an old picture of the gals is being used to advertise escort girls in Russia. The Babylon Moscow Escort Agency, if you believe their racy picture, will provide “friendly and sophisticated girls” who are “waiting for your call”. We think we smell a rat… (Daily Mirror).

From the papers:

They may have only been going out for a month, but Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift‘s relationship is still going strong, we read. They were pictured cosying up to each other while grabbing a coffee in Nashville (The Sun).

Lord help us: JLS say they want to start playing musical instruments on their next tour. They’ve been inspired to do so by ultimate man-band Take That‘s recent musical endeavours (Daily Star).

Blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus may be a bit of a chump when it comes to acting his age, but at least he’s got good taste in new bands. He wants The Drums to support them on their UK tour next year (The Sun).

Some indie chaos now: Two Door Cinema Club‘s European tour almost ended in disaster when the band were involved in a “mass pile-up” on Germany’s autobahn. Somehow their trailer managed to detach itself from the tourbus, careering into the road and causing chaos. As bassist Kevin Baird puts it: “It was pretty surreal to see our trailer overtake us… it took us a while to realise it was ours but when we did we thought, ‘Oh fuck, this could end in disaster!'” Baird added that although the band initially thought their equipment “could explode in a million pieces”, it only suffered minor damage.
