Amy Winehouse is desperate to appear on prime-time BBC quiz show ‘Hole In The Wall’. Hosted by Dale Winton, the show sees celebrities trying to fit through strange shapes in a moving ‘wall’ while wearing silver catsuits. If they fail, the wall pushes them into a pool of freezing cold water. Producers are said to be considering whether it’s a good idea to invite Winehouse onto the show. Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor launched into a foul-mouthed tirade against Coldplay while reviewing the band’s recent ‘Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends’ album on ‘MTV Gonzo’. “That is one of the most self-celebratory pieces of shit I’ve ever fucking heard in my entire fucking life,” he quipped (The Sun).
The Ting Tings‘ Katie White says fame has turned the band insane. “We’ve let go of our sanity. It’s weird,” she said. “You don’t go to the supermarket. You don’t wash your own clothes” (Daily Record).
Paul McCartney fans dressed as firemen while queuing for wristbands to the Beatles legend’s signing session at HMV. McCartney is signing copies of his ‘Electric Arguments’ album, recorded under his alias The Fireman, this Sunday (December 21) (Daily Star).
