Sugababes singer goes AWOL – Daily Gossip

Amy Winehouse love triangle, Ricky Wilson hits Ibiza, John Lydon the choirmaster – your music gossip stop

Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today’s top gossip:

Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah mirrored Glasvegas frontman James Allan’s recent disappearing act by going missing earlier this week.

Berrabah‘s family became so worried after she disappeared following a row with fellow Sugababe Keisha Buchanan that they alerted police on Wednesday (September 9), who yesterday tracked the singer down to her London home where she had locked herself away.

The row with Buchanan was reportedly over Berrabah‘s recent collaboration with Tinchy Stryder, ‘Never Leave You’, which went to Number One in the UK single charts in August (The Sun).

From the papers:

James Blunt and Kaiser Chiefs‘ frontman Ricky Wilson teamed up in Ibiza this week to check out Klaxons and The Big Pink‘s Ibiza Rocks gig on Tuesday (September 8). The unlikely duo were both on the island to celebrate a mate’s stag do, for which Wilson is best man. The singer was in charge of the party, and hilariously decided to book everyone twin rooms at the budget Ibiza Rocks Hotel. It seems that Wilson and Blunt were sharing the same room (and therefore bed), as the latter commented: “Ricky and I are very close. Very close indeed. He’s my lover for the week” (The Sun).

Amy Winehouse is involved in a love triangle – with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil and another of his former squeezes, model Sophie Schandorff (Daily Star).

John Lydon compared being a frontman in a band to being a “choirmaster” (The Sun).

Mini Viva said they were shocked to see so many A-list popstars milling around at their producers’ Xenomania‘s HQ in Kent. “I would see the Pet Shop Boys, Kylie Minogue, Alexandra Burke and Cheryl Cole,” bandmember Frankee Connolly said (Daily Star).

StereophonicsKelly Jones drank in London‘s Bungalow 8 (The Sun).
