The Kills joined by Kate Moss and The View become mates with Jay-Z - your music gossip stop
Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.
Today’s top gossip:
Eminem was reportedly 50 minutes late onstage at T In The Park on Saturday (July 10) because security guards were worried he would be blinded by laser pens. While festival organiser Geoff Ellis dispelled initial rumours that the rapper was delayed because he refused to walk across the mud between his bus and the stage it is now claimed that the delay was down to security hunting for fans in the crowd using the high-powered lasers. “Eminem was desperate to go onstage but he was held back for his own safety,” a source said. (The Daily Record).
From the papers:
The View singer Kyle Falconer has apparently become “good friends” with Jay-Z and Beyonce. The pair watched the four-piece from the side of the stage at a gig earlier in the week, according to the frontman. The rapper asked Falconer to return the favour by watching his own main stage performance at T In The Park last night (July 11). “We were surprised when Kyle got a text from him,” added bassist Kieren Webster. “It’s pretty cool.”(The Daily Record).
The Kills‘ Jamie Hince was joined onstage by his supermodel girlfriend Kate Moss at a charity gig over the weekend. Pete Doherty‘s ex played tambourine at the Hoping Foundation concert at Kiddington Hall, Oxon, before smashing it to smithereens. (Daily Star).
Robbie Williams has apparently teamed up with Take That for a new single entitled ‘Shame’. A video based on the 2005 Hollywood movie ‘Brokeback Mountain’ is already in the pipleline, and an album and a tour is apparently being lined up. (The Sun).
