Kate Nash has swapped the Brits for the US. Due to perform at the Brits nominees bash at London Roundhouse on January 14, the singer has pulled out after being offered the chance to perform in New York. (The Daily Star)

Pete Doherty called Gold radio station especially to request The Beatles song ‘I’ll Be Back’. It was only when the DJ enquired about the listener’s week that Doherty replied “I’m off on the road with my band on Tuesday – we’re off round Europe. The band’s called Babyshambles.” (The Daily Star)

Britney Spears‘ new boyfriend Adnan Ghalib is reportedly already trying to auction intimate videos of them together – including one that apparently features Spears wearing next to nothing and sucking on a lollipop. (Daily Mirror)

Rod Stewart‘s two-year old son was involved in a 999 dash when he was rushed to hospital with suspected meningitis. The symptoms turned oput to be just an ear bug and he is “responding well” to antibiotics. (The Sun)
