The View‘s Kyle Falconer has apologised to fans for turning up to a gig in Nottingham so drunk that he couldn’t perform.
The singer arrived at the Bodega Social so drunk that he could barely stand up and later issued a statement saying: “I’m really sorry to have let all our fans down. There’s no excuses, I’m just really sorry I got so drunk I couldn’t do the gig” (Daily Record).

The Wombats will mock Leona Lewis at the MTV Europe Awards with a punked up version of ‘Bleeding Love’. The Liverpool trio lost out to the ‘X Factor’ winner for the title of UK’s favourite act, and so will don T-shirts bearing the words: “We Were Robbed” (The Sun).

The Courteeners frontman Liam Fray was approached in a Dundee record shop and asked to sign a copy of single ‘That Kiss’, the fan offering him a pirate copy of Oasis‘ ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ in return. The frontman refused, vowing to buy a proper copy instead (Daily Star).
