Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out what the stars of the music world have been up to in the tabloids and beyond, with the help of plenty of “anonymous sources”.
Today’s top gossip:
Rihanna has lifted the lid on her relationship with Drake, we read. The singer said it didn’t work out romantically between the pair because she was still recovering from her bust-up with former boyfriend Chris Brown. “I definitely was attracted to Drake,” she said, before going on to say that “it was at a really fragile time in my life, so I just didn’t want to get too serious with anything or anyone at that time” (MTV.co.uk).
From the papers:
Hurts‘ Theo Hutchcraft have supposedly been asked to write new material for Leona Lewis. Ever the professional, Hutchcraft cooed: “She has an incredible voice.” This being for the red-tops, the Mancunian went on to add that she’s “not bad looking either” (The Sun).
Tabloid favourite Katy Perry is hitting back at Sesame Street censorship. Her appearance in The Simpsons sees her mock the kids’ puppet show, after a scene featuring her earlier this year was cut because she was showing too much bosum. In the new show she reportedly flirts with the entire Simpsons cast, who’ve been made into puppets rather than cartoon figures for the episode (various).
Susan Boyle got involved at London Aldwych Theatre‘s production of Dirty Dancing. She was apparently gyrating to the closing song ‘(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life’ (Daily Mirror).
