Solo singer and frontman revisits 1994 for Jimmy Fallon
Damon Albarn appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, performing Blur song ‘This Is A Low.’
The singer is currently in the US promoting his debut solo album, ‘Everyday Robots’, and stopped off at the late-night NBC chat show to perform live. He performed ‘Lonely Press Play’ from the album as well as a web exclusive rendition of Blur’s 1994 track. Watch the replay below.
Albarn’s debut solo album entered the Official UK Albums Chart at Number Two on May 4, when it was held off the top spot by Paolo Nutini’s ‘Caustic Love’.
The Blur frontman marked the album’s release with a career-spanning 90-minute set at London’s Rivoli Ballroom on April 30 and another set at Queen Mary University’s Great Hall in Mile End the following evening, playing tracks from his Blur, Gorillaz, The Good, The Bad and The Queen and Rocket Juice & the Moon catalogues, alongside a host of solo material.
Next month he will headline the Latitude festival in Suffolk alongside The Black Keys and Two Door Cinema Club.
