Blur frontman offers latest track from debut solo album 'Everyday Robots'
Damon Albarn has previewed new song ‘Photographs’, the latest to be lifted from his new solo album ‘Everyday Robots’.
The Blur singer is set to release his first solo album on April 28 and ‘Photographs’ is the latest song to be shared with fans. A 90-second clip of the song can be heard in the video, above, now. It follows ‘Lonely, Press Play’ , ‘Heavy Seas Of Love’ and the album’s title track, all of which have been previewed in the run up to the album release.
Damon Albarn will play a number of intimate London shows to launch his solo debut, at the Rivioli Ballroom in Crofton Park on April 30, followed by a show at the People’s Palace in Mile End on May 1.
Albarn will be honoured with the NME Award For Innovation at this year’s NME Awards with Austin, Texas. The Blur frontman will pick up the award in person on Wednesday, February 26 at the O2 Academy, Brixton.
The award recognises the singer, songwriter, producer and composer as one of the UK’s most influential and consistently groundbreaking musicians. The NME Award For Innovation not only recognises Albarn’s past, but equally celebrates him as one of the world’s leading music heavyweights in 2014.
