Dananananaykroyd to road-test new songs at low key gigs

Band announce a trio of UK shows for next week (May 28-30)

Dananananaykroyd are set to preview songs from their second album at a series of low-key shows next week.

The band have been writing in Scotland for the last six months, and now plan to roadtest their new material.

“We wanted to play our new songs to people and get a great feel for them before recording them in a studio atmosphere,” said singer Calum Gunn of the shows.

He added: “We had the benefit of a couple of years feeling our way through the songs on the first album, so we thought playing a few shows under a different name would be a great way to play a set of new ones, rather than a ‘proper’ Dananananaykroyd set.”

The band are yet to announce when the unnamed record will be released.

Dananananaykroyd will play:

London The Lexington (May 28)
Cardiff Clwb Ifor Bach (29)
Manchester The Corner (30)
