DANIEL BEDINGFIELD has been charged with careless use of a motor vehicle following a car accident in NEW ZEALAND earlier this month (January 2).
The singer suffered neck injuries and lacerations when the Jeep Cherokee he was driving rolled over on a rural road near the North Island town of Whangarei.
The singer had to be cut out of his car following the crash.
BBC news reports that Bedingfield could face a fine of NZ$1,000 (£370) and a driving ban as a result of the charge.
New Zealand-born Bedingfield had been in his home country on holiday over the festive period visiting friends and family.
