DANIEL BEDINGFIELD has been cut out of his car after a crash in NEW ZEALAND.
The singer, who was born in New Zealand, has been in the country on holiday over the festive period visiting friends and family.
Bedingfield was driving near Whangarei in the north of the country when the crash happened. The accident isn’t thought to have involved any other vehicles but the singer is in hospital recovering from head and neck injuries.
A passenger, also in the car, is unharmed.
A spokesperson for the singer told BBC news that no bones had been broken in the smash. He said: “He did have to be cut out of the car so it was obviously in a bit of a mangled state when he was taken out. I’m sure that they’re just making absolutely certain that he’s fine.”
