David Bowie’s son Duncan Jones eyes future film project with his father

Bowie 'loved' his son's recent film 'Moon'

David Bowie‘s film-maker son Duncan Jones says he is considering working with his father on a future project.

Jones, whose debut feature film ‘Moon’ is out in the UK on July 17, says it’s not out of the question that father and son will work together one day.

However, he told BBC News that ideally he needs “to have a few films under my belt” before casting his father, who has previously worked on films including ‘The Man Who Fell To Earth’ and ‘Labyrinth’.

“I would have to feel absolutely confident I was a capable director, as I wouldn’t want to put any pressure on our valuable relationship,” Jones explained of the situation.

He added: “I’d also want people to know he [Bowie] was in my film because I want him in it, not because I need him to be.”

Jones added his father “loved” the movie, and that he was “a proud dad” as a result.

‘Moon’ is a science fiction thriller starring Sam Rockwell and Kevin Spacey.
