The star hopes to be well enough to resume his world tour later this week....

David Bowie has been forced to cancel a date of his ’REALITY’ world tour due to laryngitis.

Probems began during Monday’s (November 10) gig in Nice. David Bowie’s vocals failed during ’Ziggy Stardust’, prompting an apologetic star to leave the stage.

Last night’s (November 11) gig in Toulouse was also cancelled. A statement on David Bowie’s website explains that he hopes to be well for his date in

Marseille on Friday (14).

David Bowie returns to the UK on Monday (November 17) for eight dates in Britain and Ireland. The world tour, promoting his latest album ’Reality’, continues until February 2004.
