Legendary director David Lynch is working on a new book, which has been described as a cross between a memoir and a biography.
As The Guardian reports, the book will be called Life And Work – a joint venture with journalist Kristine McKenna.
The book will include Lynch’s own autobiographical writings, plus background information sourced by McKenna from “interviews with about 90 of Mr Lynch’s friends, family members, former wives and artistic collaborators, including actors, agents and musicians.”
Lynch has said of the project: “There’s a lot of bullshit out there about me, in books and all over the internet. I want to get all the right information in one place, so if someone wants to know something, they can find it here. And I wouldn’t do it with anyone other than Kristine; she and I go way back, and she gets it right.”
The book is expected to be published in 2017 by Canongate.

Meanwhile, David Lynch recently confirmed that he has returned to work on the upcoming Twin Peaks revival series, after he initially dropped out of the project due to financial budgets.
The Twin Peaks reboot is expected to premiere on Showtime in late 2016 or early 2017.
