The EDM titan says his encounter with the teenager pop star distracted from his campaign to appear on the BBC Two show
Deadmau5 has dubbed Justin Bieber a “little prick” for inadvertently ruining his chances of appearing on BBC Two’s Top Gear.
The EDM giant was spotted next to the teenage pop star in Toronto’s Cabana Pool Bar, where he was promoting his annual Veld festival.
After the meeting, the DJ sent a series of sarcastic tweets to Bieber’s fans – including one which read: “Wanna see rage? check this out: Hey Biebs fans. I TOUCHED HIM! I DID! it was AWESOME! Nya nya. Wut now? Yeah. I touched his hand. So soft.”
However, Deadmau5, real name Joel Zimmerman, told the Huffington Post that the fracas distracted from his Twitter campaign to get himself on Top Gear. “Which got fucking buried thanks to that little prick,” he said. “Like you little fuck. I can’t believe it. I was so fucking stoked that whole day and then he just shows up and, I shit you not, I didn’t think about anything else other than ‘You just fucking ruined every chance I ever had of getting on fucking Top Gear.’ So that’s that.”
Deadmau5 released his sixth studio album ‘Album Title Goes In Here’ in September 2012.
