Gibbard was playing a solo show at The Nepture Theatre in Seattle over the weekend when he delivered a piano-driven rendition of ‘Archie, Marry Me’. The show was to raise funds for Power2Give/Puget Sound, “regional arts projects with funds that fuel Seattle’s artistic community”.

Death Cab For Cutie recently confirmed that they’ll release their eighth album during 2015, their last featuring founding member Chris Walla.
