US band's 2003 album now comes complete with a 10-track collection of demos
Death Cab For Cutie are streaming the 10th anniversary edition of their album ‘Transatlanticism’ online.
The album, which features fan favourites such as ‘The New Year’ and ‘The Sound Of Settling’, was first released in 2003. The reissue comes complete with a bonus disc of 10 demo tracks from the album, including the title track and single ‘Title & Registration’. A full tracklist can be seen below, with the album available to stream here.
Earlier this year it was reported that Death Cab For Cutie have started work on their eighth studio album. The band, who released their most recent album ‘Codes And Keys’ in 2011, have reportedly begun sessions for the new album in a Seattle studio.
Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard recently reunited with his Postal Service band mate Jimmy Tamborello for a run of shows on the 10th anniversary of their album ‘Give Up’. The duo played dates in Manchester and London back in May, after appearing at Californian festival Coachella.
In a message on their official website published in August The Postal Service announced their brief reunion had ended. “Thanks to everyone who came and saw us this spring/summer,” they wrote. “It meant the world to us. And with that, we are closed for business.”
