Death Cab for Cutie share video for new single

An animated effort for 'Good Help (Is Hard To Find)'

Death Cab For Cutie have shared a new video for upcoming single ‘Good Help (Is Hard To Find)’. It’s the latest release taken from last year’s ‘Kintsugi’ album.

Walter Robot directed the animated clip, which depicts the dull lives of every day office workers. One of their luck changes however, when they stumble into the desert and end up on national news after a rescue mission.

The worker suddenly becomes a celebrity without really knowing how he ended up there.

At the end of last year, Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard criticised Apple Music, saying that he doesn’t see a scenario in which artists will ever make money from streaming services.

Gibbard was among the first artists to criticise Tidal when it launched earlier this year and maintained a similar stance when quizzed about Apple Music by NME.

“It seems like the model for every streaming service that exists at the moment is based upon building a monopoly,” Gibbard said. “[Streaming services are saying] when people start using our service, that’s when artists will see real money, but that’s just not how it’s going to happen.”
