Death From Above 1979 announce first UK show in five years

Band to play London's HMV Forum in May

Death From Above 1979 have announced details of their first UK show since they reunited.

The Toronto hard-rock duo, who haven’t played in the UK since 2006, will play London‘s HMV Forum on May 5.

The band were a surprise inclusion on the bill for April’s Coachella Festival in California this year and have since confirmed they will play Austria’s Donau Festival this spring.

They released their only album to date, ‘You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine’, in 2004. They have not said if they will be recording new material as part of their 2011 reunion.

Tickets go on sale on Friday (February 11) at 10am (GMT). To check the availability of Death From Above 1979 tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.
