Buy big denim banner designed by Richard Fearless and Will Beavan...

RICHARD FEARLESS of Death In Vegas and his design partner Will Beaven, who stage two art installations in association with Levis, will auction one of their works through nme.com starting on December 10.

The installations – as previously reported on nme.com – will incorporate graphic art, design, film and music as well as the feature art from all previous Death In Vegas sleeves. Two private views will be held in London and Paris but the exhibition will be open to the public at The Loading Bay Gallery in London E1 on December 10 between 12 noon and 7pm. Admission is free.

“I’m nervous but I’m also fortunate that I’ve got a few things that I’m involved in and I’m not in the situation where, if I don’t sell stuff, we’ll have wasted the year working on it,” Fearless told nme.com. “This is something we’ve been involved in while writing the album. That’s all it is. It’s not like when you’ve done an art degree and you work on your first exhibition for ages and everything depends on it. Actually, I’m lying. I am really nervous!”

The installation will include four large customised denim banners, one of which will be auctioned in aid of The Big Issue Foundation.

The auction will take place between December 10 and 20 via the band’s own [url=]site, the sponsor’s site and nme.com. Meanwhile, you can see the customised banners at the Levis store on London’s Regent Street.

Details about how to bid will be announced soon.
