Bobby G, Jim Reid and guests join DIV for live webcast from London...
The webcast of the NME Premier featured DIV with guest vocalists Bobby Gillespie from Primal Scream and ex-Mary Chain man Jim Reid as well as Dot Allison.
The Richard Fearless/Will Beaven (of Regular Fries) design partnership will stage their two art installations in Paris and London on December 2 and 9 this year.
The Sucker Installations incorporate film, art and music; Richard will be customising strips of denim which will then be auctioned for charity at the Levi’s store in London’s Regent Street.
The Sucker Installations involve the sleeve design for ‘The Contino Sessions’ as well as the film ‘Gun Shots’ which has been shown at the Edinburgh Film Festival and on Channel 4/FilmFour as well as the Terry Richardson video for ‘Aisha’, the DIV/Iggy Pop collaboration.
Fearless & Beavan staged their first installation in December 1997 at the Dazed & Confused gallery in London’s Old Street to tie in with the release of DIV‘s debut album ‘Dead Elvis’.
