Richard Fearless assaulted after Sheffield gig...
Death In Vegas‘s show tonight in Manchester will go ahead, despite Richard Fearless being hospitalised last night following their show in Sheffield.
According to an eyewitness, the band were leaving Sheffield University when a fracas occurred with some people outside the venue that arose from an incident earlier in the night. Richard Fearless was caught by several of the people causing the affray and sustained bruising to the head and a black eye. Other members of the group managed to calm the situation and the police were not involved.
Fearless was taken to casualty and released today.
Meanwhile, Bobby Gillespie is expected to sing with the band at the show tonight.
Their gig at London Shepherd’s Bush Empire will be webcast on nme.com on Sunday from 9pm.
