Watch Iggy Pop casually eat a burger in the new video from Death Valley Girls

Pop stars in the band's video for 'Disaster (Is What We're After)'

Death Valley Girls have released a new video for their track ‘Disaster (Is What We’re After)’ and it stars none-other than Iggy Pop.

It’s the first song to be taken from the Los Angeles band’s new album, ‘Darkness Rains’, out October 5 via Suicide Squeeze.

The new video is an ode to the iconic ‘Andy Warhol Eating a Hamburger’ short film, but instead sees Pop chomping down on a burger and proudly proclaiming that he’s listening to Death Valley Girls. Watch it below.

“We’re strong believers in opti-mysticism and connecting with people through rock n’ roll,” Death Valley Girls said of working with Iggy Pop.

“Having Iggy dig our music was more than amazing for us. When Kansas told us she had a dream about recreating the ‘Andy Warhol Eating a Hamburger’ short film but with Iggy starring for our music video, we were cautiously excited about the possibility. Next thing we know we’re in Miami with Iggy himself, and a rock n’ roll dream became reality!”
