Depeche Mode scrap show in Middle East

The current conflict forces Tel Aviv cancellation

Depeche Mode have pulled a forthcoming show in the Middle East.

The electronica veterans have been forced to cancel their scheduled gig at Hayarkon Park in Tel Aviv on August 3 following the current conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

A statement on the band’s official site added: “Unfortunately, at present there is no way to reschedule the concert, as this is the end of the Depeche Mode world tour. The band apologise to the fans, and thank them for their understanding.”

The band are due to release a live DVD later this year.
