Ticket winners see the British electro pioneers race through a 13-song set at the 500-capacity Roxy nightclub...

DEPECHE MODE played a low-key warm-up show for their forthcoming North American tour at the ROXY club in LOS ANGELES on Monday night (June 4).

The band played 13 songs at the 500-capacity fan-only gig, with the audience having won tickets through Los Angeles radio station KROQ last week.

According to reports on cdnow.com, the hour-long set opened with an acoustic intro of single ‘Dream On’, with Martin Gore and Andy Fletcher on guitar and keyboards respectively, flanked by a drummer and additional keyboard player.

Frontman Dave Gahan joined them for the second song, ‘Walking In My Shoes’, dressed in a pair of black tuxedo trousers and waistcoat. Gore performed the first encore, ‘The Bottom Line’, solo on an acoustic guitar.
