DANIEL BEDINGFIELD has ended BEYONCE’s reign at the top of the UK singles chart tonight (July 27) – and is breathing down her neck in the albums chart too.

The solo star’s ‘Never Gonna Leave Your Side’ has gone straight in at Number One in the singles chart, with Beyonce’s ‘Crazy In Love’ down to Two after a three-week spell on top of the pile.

Other new entries in the Top Ten include Stereophonics at Three with ‘Maybe Tomorrow’, Deepest Blue’s eponymous effort at Seven, and Triple Eight at Nine with ‘Give Me A Reason’.

In the albums chart, Beyonce’s ‘Dangerously In Love’ is still on top, but Daniel Bedingfield’s ‘Gotta Get Thru This’ races back up from 13 to Two.

The highest new entry is Super Furry Animals’ ‘Phantom Power’ at Four, while other new entries include former Hear’say singer Kym Marsh at Nine with her debut solo effort ‘Standing Tall’ and comeback rockers Jane’s Addiction at 14 with their first album proper in 13 years, ‘Strays’.
