MIA producer also drops new video for 'Express Yourself'
Mad Decent, the record label founded by DJ/producer Diplo, has announced a new digital subscription service.
The new pay-for site, dubbed Mad Decent Premium, is said to be an “exclusive club” for fans to hear new music from the label.
Members will receive a first listen to all of the label’s releases, as well as remixes, mixtapes, live sets, videos, a discount at their merchandise store and a membership card.
The new streaming service will operate similarly to Spotify, where the user can stream and download content for $10 a month from any computer.
As an opening incentive, Mad Decent will send a t-shirt to the first 50 American subscribers and stickers to the first 250 global users to subscribe.
Once signed up, the member will automatically receive ‘Mad Decent Jeffree’s Vol. 2’; ‘Express Yourself‘ by Diplo; ‘Dope Boy Magick’ by Po Po and the Mad Decent super pack featuring unreleased tracks by Diplo.
The announcement comes as Diplo releases the video to ‘Express Yourself’, the first cut from his forthcoming EP, featuring Jamaican Dancehall singer Nicky Da B.
