Dirty Pretty Things‘ Didz Hammond has spoken about the break-up of the band, saying he believed that the life of the four-piece had “run its course”.
Yesterday (October 1) Dirty Pretty Things announced that they are splitting up after their forthcoming UK tour.
“It has just run its course a little bit,” the bassist told BBC 6music. “I think we all want to get on with other things, particularly Carl [Barat], who just wants to have some space and time to work out what he’s gonna do next.”
Hammond said that the band members would look to other musical projects following the split. “Me and Anthony [Rossomando, guitarist] and Carl have always got little diddles hanging around, but I think we just want to get on and do something else.”
