Disclosure video removed from YouTube following fears it glamourises drug use

'Help Me Lose My Mind' video taken offline by the duo's record label, PMR Records

The video for Disclosure‘s new single ‘Help Me Lose My Mind’ has been taken offline by their record label following complaints it glamourises drug use.

The video for the song, which will be the next track released from the brother’s hugely successful debut album ‘Settle’ and features London Grammar singer Hannah Reid on vocals, was revealed earlier today (October 11) and came with a parental advisory warning prior to beginning. However, it was removed shortly after with PMR Records issuing a statement via their website explaining that they “feel very strongly against the glamorisation of drugs in any capacity”.

The full statement from PMR reads: “The video for Disclosure’s new single was revealed this morning and as with previous Disclosure videos, it was about the connection of people having a good time, something that Disclosure want associated with their music and what we hope people have done when they’ve seen the band live or while listening to their music. Unfortunately the video has received a few comments referencing the use of drugs within the video.”

It continues: “PMR feel very strongly against the glamorisation of drugs in any capacity and as such we have made the decision to remove the video.” It has not yet been clarified if, or when, a replacement video for the single will be made available.

Earlier this month, the duo responded to Azealia Banks‘ claim that she dropped a collaboration they worked on together from her debut album because they were “rude”.
