Nile Rodgers has revealed that he is about to collaborate with Disclosure.
The former Chic man, who appears on and co-wrote Daft Punk’s Number One hit ‘Get Lucky’ and follow-up single ‘Lose Yourself To Dance’, shared the news on Twitter earlier today (September 17).

In addition to Daft Punk and Disclosure, Rodgers has also teamed up recently with Avicii, co-writing two tracks on the DJ’s new album ‘True’, and Chase and Status, who revealed last month that they have written some “incredible tracks” with Rodgers.
Last Saturday (September 14) Rodgers and his band headlined a night of this year’s iTunes Festival at London’s Roundhouse with support from Janelle Monae. Rodgers, who has also worked with David Bowie and Madonna in the past, will turn 61 on Thursday (September 19).
Meanwhile, Disclosure’s debut album ‘Settle’ has picked up a nomination for this year’s Mercury Prize, but the London duo have told NME they are backing Bowie to take home the award on October 30 for his comeback effort ‘The Next Day’.
