Dizzee Rascal shares gory Halloween video for ‘Couple Of Stacks’

The video will be taken off line at the end of this weekend

Dizzee Rascal has shared a gory Halloween video for a new song, ‘Couple Of Stacks’.

Visit Noisey to watch the Emile Sornin-directed promo, which sees the grime artist engaged in a host of blood-splattered, NSFW horror film pastiches. The video is exclusive to Noisey, and will only be available to watch until midnight on Sunday (November 2). The song, which was produced by Footsie, will not be released to radio.

Earlier this year Dizzee Rascal said it was “mental” that he will be featured on the reading list of a new English A-level. The rapper’s interview with Newsnight‘s Jeremy Paxman has been included in the proposals for the new qualification. Writing on Twitter, the rapper posted a link to an article discussing the proposals and added: “This is mental! Good luck kids.”

Exam board OCR said the new course, which is separate from either the traditional English or English Literature A-Levels, will include an anthology of unorthodox texts.

In November last year, Dizzee Rascal was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of East London. The grime artist – real name Dylan Mills – grew up in Bow, near to the University, which is located in the London Borough of Newham. He released his most recent studio album, ‘The Fifth’, in September 2013.
