The transatlantic unit, including three times individual world champ DJ Craze triumph at the DMC World Championships in London...

Transatlantic DJ team THE PERVERTED ALLIES were crowned Best In The World last night (September 23) on day one of the DMC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS held at LONDON’s HAMMERSMITH APOLLO.

The four-man team, made up of the UK’s Tony Vegas and Prime Cuts from Scratch Perverts and Americans DJ Craze and DJ Infamous, were the first international outfit to take part in the competition. DJ Craze was the defending solo champion, having held the title for three years, but he decided to relinquish his crown in order to have a punt at the team competition this year.

With P Diddy‘s ‘Bad Boy For Life’ vocal – “We ain’t going nowhere/We can’t be stopped…” – used as their message the quartet used one deck each, swapping places, creating beats with live wires and keeping a constant beat using over 30 records.

This years event, played out in front of 3,000 fans, saw 12 other teams from all over the world compete for the title, with London duo the Mixologists taking second place, and France’s Skratch Action Hiro’s in third.

The competition continues today.
